Jumpy, Jumpy, Jumpy, Jumpy

Ella loves her jumparoo so much and mommy loves that she will sit in it for 30 minutes and play all by herself!  I thought she was getting bored on the playmat so I made Bobby put this together a couple months early.  She isn't tall enough to touch the ground yet so I put a pillow under her so she has something to jump on.

The light up lion is her definitely her favorite but she has started reaching for the other toys too.  

The music and lights are motion activated so it startles her when its comes alive after being off for a couple minutes.  HA!  She wildly flaps her arms and starts banging on it when I say jumpy, jumpy, jumpy, jumpy.  Nerd. 

And then this is the face that I get when she is ready to get out.   Usually a jump session is quickly followed by a nap.  It's a tough workout! 

Ella the Snuggle Bunny

Ella likes to snuggle with blankies A LOT.  I put the blankie by her arm before she takes a nap and she covers her face with it immediately.  Proof below:

ELLA GROWS!! 3 Months!!

My little nugget is already 3 months old!  She is growing way too fast but we are loving every minute.

Ella loves her sleep just like her mommy and goes to bed at 8:30pm.  She wakes up at 7:00am squawking to get out of her swaddle.  Bobby likes to get her up in the morning before he leaves for work.  She greets him with the biggest smiles and giggles.  Love it!

New things this month:  giggling all the time, sitting up in her bumbo chair thing, grabbing toys, chewing Sophie and watching TV.   I am really trying to limit any TV for now but that kid is addicted to it.  I catch her fixated on it at least two or three times a day so I started just turning it off.  We watched Baby Einstein one time, but I couldn't handle it.  Whoever created those is officially nuts.

Ella is rockin the reverse bald spot.  She has a full line around her whole head where she has rubbed her hair off.  I pray that it grows back soon...

We have a lot of exciting things coming up in month 4 including a trip to Breckenridge to see Grandma and Grandpa D!!!  I am nervous about her first airplane red, but Amy has given me lots of tips so we should do ok.

She's Sitting...Kinda!

I love this new little contraption that Ella has been hanging out in.  She is not quite ready to sit in it for longer than a couple minutes, but her neck strength is getting so much better so I know it will be soon!

Also new this week...SOPHIE!!  I gave her to Ella for the first time last night and she loved her.  She can grab onto her legs and neck so much easier then the rest of her toys.  Plus she tastes really good :)

We are off to the grocery store to get stuff to make a cake!

Fishie

We took Ella swimming for the first time last weekend.  She didn't hate it, but she didn't really like it either.  All that matters is that she looked stinkin cute doing it!  Grandma D got her this fabulous suit and hat and she is already almost too big for it.  She really needs to stop getting so big!!

Ella was tired after her swim so she took a long nap and woke up ready to snuggle.  She is definitely a Daddy's girl!

I think she looks so much like Bobby in this picture.  I want for someone to say she looks like me just ONCE!

Ella's little personality is coming out more and more each day and we are having so much fun with her.  We have an exciting weekend planned and should have some great pictures to share next week.  I am taking an online photography class so hopefully I will finally learn how to use my camera correctly!
