I'm Back!

Wow!  It's been a couple months since I've updated this thing, but I have a good excuse.  Look what we made!!

Miss Ella Claire is going to be a big sister in February!  We are super excited and a little nervous to have two monkeys under 2, but I have a feeling it's going to be a lot of fun.  This ultrasound picture was taken at 8 weeks and I am almost 16 weeks, so hopefully the baby looks less like a peanut now.

I am not a good pregnant person.  I puke...a lot.  I am finally feeling a little more normal, but I still have my moments.  I was sick the entire time with Ella, but it was manageable after the first 4 or 5 months.  I haven't puked in seven days...progress people!!

A huge thank you to everyone that has helped with Ella this summer.  I really have the best hubs in the entire world.  Bobby picked up all of my mom duties and took wonderful care of Ella with no complaints.  I would be lost without him and Ella would probably be really hungry and bored.

I'll do a little recap of Ella's summer this week, but I think every picture is from my phone or Instagram.  Oh well.

Chatter Box

Ella has a couple new words this week.

Bobby says READY and she yells GO! She probably did this about 20 times today because she thinks it's really funny to run her lion into the wall or furniture.

She has been saying Ella for a couple weeks, but now she will answer when I ask her her name.  She was a little distracted by the cheddar bunnies stuffed in her cheeks, but it's still super cute.

Here's a old clip of us practicing her words in the morning.  It was too dark in our room because she likes to wake up at 6:45 now (rude!), but her little voice is just so sweet.

Her other words are ball, hi, bye, mama, dada, CoCo for Chloe, Lola, cup and bubbles. Crazy kid.

Ella's Birthday: Part 2

I could seriously kick myself. I didn't charge my camera for Ella's birthday party, so all I have is a bunch of iPhone pictures and a few that I took with Whit's camera.  I didn't get any pictures of the decorations and I cried when I got home and realized what I did.  Oh well, Ella had a fabulous time celebrating with all of her little friends so it was all worth it.

We had cupcake eating on the patio.  Ella was much more restrained this time and only had a couple bites of icing.

She liked singing Happy Birthday and even gave us a little dance at the end.

Yumm!  More Cake!

E is a lucky girl to have so many people that love her and quite a few that traveled many miles to help her celebrate.  Great Grandma and Grandpa D came from South Carolina, Grandma and Grandpa D from Kansas and Great Aunt Kathy, Great Uncle Bob, Emily, Lee, Cory and Ava all came from Austin! She got way too many presents. I hid a couple in her closet to bring out later this summer so it will feel like her birthday for months!
Her new kitchen from Grandma and Grandpa D was a big hit!
 "Mom, open this now!!"
Grammie and Pop bought Ella a bounce house to play in when she visits (spoiled much?). Uncle Ryan set it up for her and I think it was definitely the highlight of the party.  I think she was a little excited?!
Ella and Izzy had the best time being crazy bugs together.

Mr. Bryce was a trooper.  Isn't he the cutest thing ever!?

I love watching all of Bobby's friends turn into complete goobers when playing with Ella.  They are going to be great dads one day, and until then they can practice with E.
I did find a couple iPhone pics of some of the decorations that I made - cupcake toppers, elephant slider pics, party favors, photo banner.  I promise her party was real cute! Still kicking myself.
Thank you to everyone that sent their love to our sweet E for her birthday.  We had such a wonderful time celebrating (for two weeks!) and can't wait to do it again next year.

Ella's First Birthday. Part 1

My Ella Claire is ONE!  We made it a whole year!  Since Ella's party was two weeks after her real birthday, we spent the day celebrating together - mommy and E.

Ella wakes up every morning with a huge smile and giggles.  My heart explodes at least 8 times a day with this kid.  Daddy and mommy sang happy birthday and Ella clapped along.  Again, heart exploding.

We made E's favorites for breakfast - pancakes, chicken apple sausage and pears.

After lunch, we went to Party City to check out the birthday girl hats and buy E a balloon.  I always let her carry an Elmo balloon around the grocery store, but I'm cheap and I put it back before we leave.  She finally got to take one home!!

We waited for Daddy to get home and ate our dinner so we could finally eat our cupcake!  Do you like our party hat choice?

Daddy's home!! Time to get this party started!! I love this little expression.

We moved the party outside.  Prepare for picture overload.

Happy Birthday my sweet bug. Thank you for a wonderful day. We love you to the moon and back.

ELLA GROWS!! 11 Months!!

This update is over a month old!  I started it weeks ago, but never pushed publish.  Since her 12 month update is due, we will just go with a bunch of pictures for Month 11. Ooops!

I can't get over how sweet this baby is!

Food:
She really just loves to eat.  Maybe that explains the collection of rolls on her arms and legs...

Teeth:
She still only has two, but her little vampire teeth are coming in!  I guess she decided to wait on the front middle teeth...

Awesome Stuff Ella is Doing:
Playing, Playing, Playing!!
Ella loves all of her little friends, even Chloe!!
Ella loves any kind of paper.  We are working on not eating the paper..  Here she is helping daddy with work and clipping coupons with mommy.
YAY for the park!
Ella loves her Uncles and Auntie Bean!
Ella has started snuggling her stuffed animals, but her house is still her favorite toy.
Girlfriend has the best bedhead EVER!  I don't know when her hair will ever lay down flat, but everyone comments on it when we are out running errands and she eats up the attention.
Playing at the park. Cool hats make us look extra fancy!
I know I say it every month, but I can't believe she is almost one.  She has grown so much in the last year and its hard to remember how tiny she once was.  I love love love you doodle bug!
