Ella and the Park

It was gorgeous in Frisco this weekend so Ella needed a trip to the park!  She put on her shades and was ready to go.

I thought she would be way too small for the swings but she actually loved it!  Her hair blowing in the wind cracks me up.

WEEEEEE!!

There was another young couple there with a baby and I should have asked her if she wanted to be friends.  She looked totally normal and had a cool stroller.  I have to find some baby friends for Ella soon.  Oh well.

ELLA GROWS!! 4 Months!!

She is getting so big.  Make it stop!!  We had Ella's four month appointment this week and she is right on track.  Her three developmental milestones were reaching for objects, laughing and trying to roll over.  Now we have to work on rolling over, sitting with assistance, switching a toy from one hand to the other and making consonant sounds.  Bring on the "mama"!!

Ella's Stats:

Weight:  12.98 lbs      36th percentile
Height:  24.5 inches     61st percentile

Her growth has slowed down, but Dr. Terry said that she was not concerned. She is eating and sleeping perfectly.  We get to start rice cereal at 5 months and then veggies.  Hopefully the rice cereal will help with the amount of blowouts that this child has.  I didn't know something so little could poo so much!

Ella is going to bed at 8pm and waking up around 7am.  She takes 4 naps a day but is increasing her awake time between each nap.  I am trying to find new things to do to keep her entertained.  She loves to  sit in her stroller and walk around HomeGoods (Mommy likes that too), jump in her jumparoo, watch Chloe and Lola, sing songs and blow spit bubbles.  She especially loves when daddy sings rap songs to her.  Awesome.

Here's a couple pictures from Month 4!

Ready to roll!

Reesie decided Ella needed a hug.  Ha!

We love this little girl so much and are so excited to see what month 5 will bring.  Hopefully less drooling.  :)

Roadtrip!

My cousin is having a baby boy so Grammie and I packed up the nugget and drove to Hutto for the baby shower.  I had tons of fun shopping for Sandy and the new baby and bought her some stuff that Ella really loves even though it wasn't on her registry.  Ooops!  She can take it back if little Wyatt or William (they haven't decided on a name) doesn't need it. Ella did really well on the drive down and we only had to stop once to feed her.  She screamed when I put her back in the carseat but it only lasted a couple minutes.

I have a ginormous family and Ella got to meet them all!

Erin's new addition, Baby Max!  He borrowed Ella's playmate and LOVED it!

Sweet Avery and Hailey

Ella slept great in her pack and play even though Grammie was snoring the whole night!  We were able to meet up with with my dad on Sunday and then headed home.  We stopped for lunch at Lone Star Cafe in Hillsboro and Ella had to watch a couple make out the whole time at their table while she was eating.  She better never do that or her daddy will have to kick some booty!

Jumpy, Jumpy, Jumpy, Jumpy

Ella loves her jumparoo so much and mommy loves that she will sit in it for 30 minutes and play all by herself!  I thought she was getting bored on the playmat so I made Bobby put this together a couple months early.  She isn't tall enough to touch the ground yet so I put a pillow under her so she has something to jump on.

The light up lion is her definitely her favorite but she has started reaching for the other toys too.

The music and lights are motion activated so it startles her when its comes alive after being off for a couple minutes.  HA!  She wildly flaps her arms and starts banging on it when I say jumpy, jumpy, jumpy, jumpy.  Nerd.

And then this is the face that I get when she is ready to get out.   Usually a jump session is quickly followed by a nap.  It's a tough workout!

Ella the Snuggle Bunny

Ella likes to snuggle with blankies A LOT.  I put the blankie by her arm before she takes a nap and she covers her face with it immediately.  Proof below:

Such a sweet baby!

ELLA GROWS!! 3 Months!!

My little nugget is already 3 months old!  She is growing way too fast but we are loving every minute.

Ella loves her sleep just like her mommy and goes to bed at 8:30pm.  She wakes up at 7:00am squawking to get out of her swaddle.  Bobby likes to get her up in the morning before he leaves for work.  She greets him with the biggest smiles and giggles.  Love it!

New things this month:  giggling all the time, sitting up in her bumbo chair thing, grabbing toys, chewing Sophie and watching TV.   I am really trying to limit any TV for now but that kid is addicted to it.  I catch her fixated on it at least two or three times a day so I started just turning it off.  We watched Baby Einstein one time, but I couldn't handle it.  Whoever created those is officially nuts.

Ella is rockin the reverse bald spot.  She has a full line around her whole head where she has rubbed her hair off.  I pray that it grows back soon...

We have a lot of exciting things coming up in month 4 including a trip to Breckenridge to see Grandma and Grandpa D!!!  I am nervous about her first airplane red, but Amy has given me lots of tips so we should do ok.
